Acceptance of Terms

By using Fotr, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

License

Fotr is open source software licensed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute it in accordance with the terms of that license.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Fotr is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The authors make no guarantees regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the software.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the authors be liable for any damages arising from the use of Fotr, including but not limited to data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access.

Your Data

• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your photo archives
• Fotr may modify or delete files when you explicitly request it (e.g., delete photos, rotate images)
• The authors are not responsible for any data loss resulting from the use of Fotr

Third-Party Services

• Google Photos integration requires a Google account and is subject to Google’s Terms of Service
• Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap and are subject to the ODbL license
• Geocoding is provided by Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) and is subject to their usage policy

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Fotr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
